Hello Mr. Arasim,

 

Thank you for your follow-up. The City was working on a more thorough response to provide more of the supporting documentation and the premature closure of this request was an accident.

 

There was no diversion of general obligation dollars for the A.R.T. project. Funds for the project were appropriated from various funding sources and the City has accounting records which show those appropriations and expenditures by funding source. In order to respond in good faith, the City has provided these records. Those records and additional records responsive to your request have been produced.

 

A total of $6.9 million of the quarter cent transportation tax was allocated for improvements along Central Avenue which fit into the scope of the A.R.T. The documents pertaining to the A.R.T.-related projects, listed as follows, are included within the City of Albuquerque’s Complete Streets program and are located at https://www.cabq.gov/council/projects/completed-projects/2015/complete-streets.
