Hello Mr. Serna,
On May 3, 2018, we received your public records request for the following records:
RE: Incident on March 30, 2018, between the hours of 9:00 p.m.- Midnight To Whom This May Concern:
Our office is requesting any and all video emanating from near the outside door of the East side of the Bernalillo County Public Safety Center located at 401 Roma N.E. in which the Prisoner Transport Center is located. All video requested is for the day and time period mentioned above
We spoke to a supervisor from the Prisoner Transport Center and we were advised that such video does exist and it is available for 30 days. We were also advised to write this letter in order to obtain the video that we are requesting.
I previously spoke with Ms. Vasquez from your office regarding this incident when she submitted NextRequest # 18-2087. On April 18, 2018, I reached out to RTCC and they may have located the traffic stop near the headquarters on 03/30/2018 at 2155 hours on 4th Street just North of Roma. The incident occurred out of camera view. There was a camera that may have captured a good visual; however, the retention on that footage only went back to April 7, 2018.
After you submitted NextRequest # 18-2462 and indicated you spoke to a supervisor from the PTC, I reached out to the PTC on May 4, 2018, and was informed the video was automatically recorded over on April 30, 2018. As a result, there are no responsive records related to your request that are maintained by my office. We have searched for the responsive records in all locations where if maintained those records would exist, and not been able to locate or identify any records.
This communication will confirm our completion of your request. My office will now close your public records request.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
