Please be aware that my office redacted protected personal identifier information contained in the requested records, pursuant to NMSA 1978, § 14-2-1(B). Additionally, my office determined is was necessary to exempt from disclosure some of the requested records for the following reasons under the Inspection of Public Records Act: including NMSA 1978, § 14-2-1A)(4) (confidential law enforcement records); and § 14-2-1(A)(8) (otherwise provided by law), including, but not limited to: NMSA 1978, § 32A-4-1 et. seq. (Abuse and Neglect Act). At this time, my office is unsure how long we will continue to claim these exemptions. Please submit a follow-up IPRA request at a later date if you still desire to inspect any of the records that are exempt from disclosure. Alternatively, you are also welcome to call my office for an update on the case.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
